There are several different bloodlines in this dark world of vampires. Many have yet to be discovered, many are long dead. These are the most well known and prominant bloodlines.
Moon Children: The children of madness they are called, the cursed ones of the moon. Their minds lay shattered into a million peices. They are the most diverse bloodline, because no two of them are the same. They are the only bloodline that doesn't fall under a stereotype. One can be a high class vampire, while another can be a total bum. They each have different mental ailments ranging from mild OCD to homicidal tendancies.
The minds of this blood is extremely powerful, allowing them to project their insanity upon others.
Shadow Wing: The shadow wings were the strongest bloodline a few hundred years ago, untill the other bloodlines nearly whiped them out. They all have a pair of large batwings and all become increasingly more beautiful upon becoming a vampire. They are also extremely animal like and can turn into a large man-bat creature during fights. The Shadow Wings are also the closest to the beast, finding themselves more animal like than the other vampires. During situations of extreme stress and difficulty they find their body slowly become more feral, though this is just a temporary effect.
Life Keeper: The life keepers are the most human of the vampires. They stick to human ideals and images, trying their best to blend in with mortal society. They are the only vampires who can hide their fangs. They also may walk in the sun for one hour after feeding. Going out any longer than that will kill them.
Scepters: The Scepters are the ones who keep their eyes upon their vampiric brethren. They are normally considered selfish beings who care more about themselves and protecting their own blood than anything else. They have a power of manipulation and mind control over weaker minded people.
Blood Cage: The Blood Cage line in the old days would disquise themselves as slaves and servants in order to feed. Their bite was considered to more pleasurable to a victim than sex. Now days they often disquise themselves as prostitutes and strippers. They are all extremely seductive creatures.
Crimson Tear: These dark vampires are one of the two races that are generally considered evil. They rip themselves apart from all humanity with the ability to craft flesh and bone like clay. Beautiful in every sense of the word, they make themselves into monsters of horrible beauty. They are inhuman and are considered to have no understanding of the word mercy. They will twist and deform their enemies without such and make them into monstrous servants devoid of free thought.
Riddle Box: Freak shows and clowns, these demented monsters are the second blood generally beleived to be evil. They have a demented sense of humor and prefer to travel in large groupings called Carnivals. In these large groups these murderous monsters have the ability to alter time and space itself if they all focus their power together. By just themselves they can cause fear in the hearts of mortals who look at them. If ever anyone had a reason to fear clowns, this bloodline was it.
Immortal Eyes: Wizards and sorcerers of the blood. They can conjure up magic using the blood they drain from their victims, sacrificing their meals for power. Generally not trusted by the other bloodlines. They don't really need to be though, but their physical prowess is not quite up to par with the others.
Kyawl: This bloodlines is an odd bloodline. They may change into any person whom they take just a drop of blood from. The drawback of this is sometimes they forget their true form and are often stuck in the forms of others.
Brutas: The Brutas clan are a group of warriors, pure bred and simple. They often lose their cool way too easily, but are definatly the physically strongest of the clans. They are often used by the Scepters are hitmen and killers.
Maggot Faces: Ugly and deformed by the embrace, the maggot faces often called Nosferatu, hide themselves in the sewers and away from the faces of the world. They are master spies and eavesdroppers. Information brokers, they command high prices for their knowledge.
